Dear Abigail,
YOWZERS! What a fun, and fast, summer we are having. As I mentioned in the last post, we were all gone for a bit, but we're safely back at home now and with lots of memories made. You started your third week of summer by going to Science Camp. This was the first time going to this camp and you didn't know anyone there. A few ladies from Mommy's book club suggested it (their kiddos went, but you had never met them) and I knew it was something you would love. And boy did you ever! The first day, you made slime and got to pour it over the 'volunteers' head. On that first day you asked when you get to come back and Miss Rhonda (the teacher) overheard you and got a big grin on her face. It was 3 days, so Monday - Wednesday. I can't remember what went down on day two, but I'm guessing lots of fun stuff. Oh, one day you brought home this soap foam stuff. And another day was this glow in the dark goo stuff. That may have found it's way to the garbage earlier than expected... On the last day, I had to pick you up a few minutes before camp got out because that's the day we were making the trip to Mimi's/Germany. When I arrived, everyone was in the backyard putting mentos in Diet Coke bottles! You LOVED it. I think Science Camp is a for sure winner and will be on the to-do list next year!
Another great summer week - but now, we're off to Camp Mimi!!
Love you!!
