Right after your big musical, we headed straight into Munford for Johnny Mike's 1st Birthday! Why do I call him Johnny Mike, you ask? Well, everyone else has a nickname - Emily = Em. Abigail = Abs or Abby, Clara Lee = Nanner (even though Mommy isn't a fan of it...) and poor John Michael is always John Michael. So I decided he needed a nickname. Maybe I'll go with John Mikey - that has a little better flow, huh. Okay, so we headed in town Friday for John Mikey's birthday. Friday night Mommy went to your BFF's for a Rockband/S'more Eating/Purse Swappin' Slumber Party (yes, one day you can go, maybe about 23 years from now, but I bet Rockband won't be around - it will be like Mario Brothers is to you - yep, never heard of it huh...)ANYWAY - you got to stay with Mimi and while she told me you slept in your own bed most of the night, I found out later that you indeed did get to sleep with her!!! I guess what happens at Mimi's stays at Mimis... So Saturday we headed over to Uncle Bubbas and Aunt G's house and boy is their new house fancy. And Aunt G had decorated so nicely for the little prince's birthday party!
They even had a bouncy house!!! And yes, you loved it, as expected. You had tons of fun running from inside to outside to the jumpy house through their big back yard and even drinking the 200 'juices' offered to you!
And of course their was cake and ice cream, to which you tried your little heart out to eat, and you did a little, but decided it wasn't worth it. Thankfully Papa Rob was right there to help...

And presents - lots of presents!! And you seemed to find plenty to play with...

Overall, a great 1st Birthday party!
After the birthday party, we all went to Mimi's house to watch the UT game/play with the 200 kids that were there. Oh, you think I'm kidding? Nope, let's see... You, Clara Lee, Emily, Dakota, John Michael, Jack, James Welton, Anna Beth, Sammy, and Rece - all at Mimi's house. All in Mimi's living room, and then Aunt Ash-ash, Mimi, Jamie, and Miss Amanda, too!! (mommy and the rest of the gang were upstairs getting our heart broken - it was the infamous LSU game that we won, but then lost... I still can't talk about it, so I'll move on...) You guys had SOOOO much fun destroying, I mean, playing at Mimi's with each other. It was very noisy, but I think everyone enjoyed it. And then after the game, to get Mommy's mind off things, we went outside and played a little limbo..
Like I said, I think everyone had a lot of fun - so much that most everyone stayed late into the evening. You eventually went to sleep in Mimi's bed and got to spend yet another night in her bed, and Mommy had lots of fun catching up with Aunt Ash-ash and Jamie. We had a fun fun fun in Munford and can't wait to do it again.
