Candy

Dear Abigail,
Today you did a good thing. I'm not sure you fully realized it, but nonetheless. You had tons and tons and tons of candy leftover from Halloween, so we sorted through all of it and picked out a few of your favorites (and a few of Mommy and Daddy's, too) and put all the rest in a separate bag. I explained to you that we were going to take the candy to the ice cream store and they were going to send it to the soldiers in Iraq. Now, you didn't get that last part at all, but you did keep reminding me all day "We need to take the candy to people who can't get candy". And finally, we did. You walked right in and said "I have candy for people!!!" The lady was super proud of you and she said we had 3 pounds of candy!!! That's a lot, and we still had some at home! I'm so proud of you - no hesitation at all about giving away all your candy. Of course, we did get us a little treat while we were there...

You got chocolate, if you couldn't tell...
Love you!!!
