Before Vacation

Dear Abigail
Summer's are tough for us.  Tough in the sense of we have SO much fun, so much going on, so much to do, that Mommy doesn't ever find the time to update your blog!!!  Ha!!  That's such a hard, tough life, huh.  Nah, we're living large in the summer time, enjoying it all and I've got the stuff to prove it.
Before vacation, we wrapped up your soccer season with one last game...

And then we went to your "end of the year soccer party" at the park.  You were stoked when you found out you were getting another trophy!

Your sister was also the life of the party for a certain age group!
Here is you and Coach Will.  What a great coach.  We can't wait to get be on his team again in the fall.

We went to the zoo with Mimi...

Climbed some rocks...(at the zoo)

And surprise surprise, road the carousel with Mimi.  You tried to ride by yourself, but the old man said you weren't tall enough to do it by your self.  Please note, the last time we were there, that same old man let you ride by your self, but what ev.  Mimi ended up hopping on her own animal!! Ha!!

Of course you got your pic with the infamous pretend dinosaur...
And you and Mimi rode the weak train, I mean train...
We also saw the geese and their kiddos, as well as the geese attack a couple kids because they were trying to touch their kiddos.  I wouldn't let you near them.  That's all I need is you afraid of geese :)
and ended the trip on the playground...

Mommy and Daddy went Aunt Amy's 70's party and you got to stay home with Mimi! (and insisted on getting your picture with your cool Daddy!)

We celebrated Mother's Day with a lovely brunch at Brick Tops...

and then you got to head to Munford with Mimi!!!  Don't worry, Mommy and Kate weren't too far behind you.  We came in to to to Clara Lee's and Em's softball games.  We stayed at Papa Rob's house and you got to see the horses.  You also got to see the dogs, which you still aren't a fan of.  Madison got to spend the night one night and we tried for a total of 1 minutes to get the 2 of you to sleep in the same bed.  Believe it or not, it was Madison who just wanted to sleep with Gramma!
We watched Em's game on Monday night and she did great.  You kept yelling for her to "get a run" even when she was on the bench!!  You had a lot of fun playing with John Michael and Clara Lee at the game, too.
Then Tuesday, we went to Clara Lee's game.  It was a little more relaxed than Em's and they even let you come on the field with Clara Lee.  Poor CL wasn't quite in the mood to play, so you took over for her!

I WILL be signing you up for softball sooner  than later.  I've never taught you anything about it and man alive do you have an arm on you!
Oh, and Clara Lee is quite the hitter.  Every time she gets to bat she makes a home run!!! No joke!
You also got a fever in there somewhere.  It was rather odd.  You had a 103.5 temp, so I gave you meds and it went down just a little and so I called the doc.  While on the phone with the doc, you threw up everywhere so he said come on in.  Well, we get there and you are as chipper as can be, no sign of fever, nothing.  He said it was probably just a virus, but your momma felt goofy standing there with a perfectly healthy child!  I even offered to show the doc the pic of you, but he said he believed me...
You also have been drawing a lot lately.  This is a picture you drew of Mommy.  I have to say, it's pretty accurate, based on a few things.  Also, Daddy was rather sad you wouldn't draw him :)
You've also been waking up from naps with gorgeous hair dos :)

And last but certainly not least, we've been gardening.  Mimi got each of the grandkids a little 'hair' plant.  Well, your momma seems to have quite the green thumb, especially compared to your Aunt Ash Ash :)

Abby's and Kate's

Clara Lee's...
Poor fella!!!  Ha!  That makes us laugh every time we see our crazy hair plants!!
So, lots going on, no doubt.  And we go on vacation, too!!!!  Fun, fun summertime, no doubt!  Love you baby girl!
