Missing Daddy

Dear Abigail,

As I mentioned, Daddy headed out of town within hours of us returning from Camp Mimi.  None of us were too happy about the timing of it all, but sometimes that's the way things go.  I think your Daddy missed us because the whole time he was at the conference he'd ask for pictures of his girls.  So... we took pictures...

For some reason when asked to pose for Daddy, you always do a salute.  We're not sure why, but you do...

We took a picture at a much needed Publix trip...

And when we built a tent to hide from the monster...

And when we ate dinner!

You drew very pretty pictures (and couldn't help but make a silly face)

And we took pictures of ourselves to send to him!

And then of course the super huge tent we made in the dining room!!!

We took a trip to Walmart after a trip to Chuck E. Cheese didn't work out for us (read:  you cried the second you saw Chuck doing his dance thing on stage - again).

And after learning Daddy was bringing you a Minnie Mouse home, I took a picture of your excitement!!!

We also took a trip to Target and bought you new sheets because you are starting a new school and to start the new school you have to a) read 2 books every single night before bed and b) sleep in your bed.  (yeah, we are having an intervention with bedtime!!!)

And of course we took pictures of Bug getting caught in the ball tent!!  I'm thinking you had a little to do with this, but nonetheless, she's still a cutey pie, huh!

Finally on Wednesday night, Daddy made it home with Minnie (and Pluto) in hand.  You were super excited to see him and ran out to the car in the driveway.  I'd say you missed him just as much as he missed you!  Thank goodness for phone cameras, huh!!!  Love you!
