Titans, the Zoo, & the Greek Festival

Dear Abigail,
We've had a busy busy busy week. I know you see that often in these blogs, but seriously dude, this one was busy. After your big birthday weekend, we went to the Hill, got back on Monday night, had Tuesday to get things in order, you stayed with the babysitter Miss Robin (who we love, btw) while Mommy and Daddy went and saw Wicked (i'll tell you all about it when we start watching the Wizard of Oz, or maybe I won't because it really changes that whole story around...anyway) THEN, Thursday we went to Uncle Jaybee & Aunt Steph's house to watch the first Titans game of the season. You were absolutely adorable in your cheerleading outfit that Ryan got for you. And I think you were even doing a few cheers. Mommy taught you "Get Fired Up" and "Razzel-dazzel" - those are old school cheers Mommy brought from her SYS years...

The Titans lost, and I think it's because you went to sleep and couldn't cheer them. I think next time we'll keep you up, what do you think?
Today, Daddy took off work and we all three went to the zoo. It was all 3 of our first time to the Nashville zoo, and I have to say, I was pretty impressed. And I think you liked it too. At first you didn't really seem to see the animals, but then we took you out of the stroller and then it was on! You loved looking at the meerkats and Daddy took you in this little tunnel thing to be right in the middle of them. It was pretty neat...

You also liked looking at this one really really big bird and got a little crazy with looking at it, and then we took you to the petting zoo part, and well, you weren't interested in petting anything. You actually said "Noooooo" when I tried taking you to pet the goat, and then when we went to the baby goat, you preferred the random black strip in the dirt than the goat. Oh well, life could be worse...

We also went into this bird exhibit thing where real birds flew all around you, real pretty birds too. You seemed to like that, but Mommy got worried once when a bird flew so close it made your hair blow, and you don't have much hair to blow!

We all were getting a little hot, so we decided to leave, after Daddy bought you a present from the gift shop of course, and we all came home and took a nap! Some of us didn't get one as long as we would have liked, but I guess beggars can't be choosers, huh.
This evening, we went with Uncle Jaybee, Aunt Steph and Ellie to the Greek Festival. Mommy and Daddy have been going for several years and wanted to take you this year. You were a little, well, quiet, but we think it was because you were still exhausted from the zoo. You did get to try greek food though and loved it. You loved the pita bread, and some of Daddy's lamb, and even cucumber and tomatoes. Oh, and of course you had some baklava and ice cream, thanks to Daddy that is. All in all, it was a very good day with me, you and Daddy. I wish we could do more days like that...
Tomorrow we jet off to Cookeville... Always moving love bug, always moving... LOVE LOVE LVOE you though...
