CHRISTMAS!!! (2013)

Dear Abby,

Christmas Day is here!!!!  and you are still asleep.  Santa has come, Mommy and Daddy are awake, Knox already went potty, and you are Kate are still asleep.  It's 8:00 at this point and Mommy and Daddy are having the great debate of Christmas 2013 - whether to wake you two up or let you sleep.  I voted sleep, but Daddy insisted you needed to wake up and see what Santa brought.  He claims he got something in his throat which made him cough really loud for a really long time...

Man alive, Santa knows how to bring it, doesn't he! 

Hooray!  You woke up! You were very excited about Doc McStuffins!

But I'm pretty sure this little jewel won you over...

We spent a little time playing with all your loot and then headed to Mammaws for Christmas breakfast and few more toys.  For some reason, I didn't get a single picture, but I can promise you, it was a good time.  And, you walked away with a trampoline!!!!
After Mammaws, we headed back to Mimi's and rested a bit and then got prettied up for the Grand Finale - Mimi's Christmas!!!! And Santa doesn't have anything on Mimi!  That is all yours!!!  And please note Mimi is so awesome she even wrapped your gifts in your favorite color wrapping paper, zebra print and cheetah.

The gift opening began and you were THRILLED with a jeep for your American Doll.  CL got one before you did and you could just see the sadness on your face.

Mimi got an extra special hug for that one!

and Kate got a new ride!

A few more of your favorites included walkie talkies, a lap desk thingy (that Mimi herself personalized!), zebra print jammies WITH FEET, and a moon for your room!

It was a very very busy Christmas day, but we all had so much fun spending it with family (and yes, getting really awesome presents!).  You got to play all evening with the cousins and eat whatever food you wanted and be as loud as you wanted! Isn't that what Christmas is all about? :)

Even Knox and Nacho had fun together! 

Merry Christmas Abby!!!  We are so fortunate to have such a close family to spend our holidays with.  It always seems crazy leading up to it, but we (especially you kiddos) have so much fun with each other! LOVE YOU!
