Easter 2014

Dear Abby,

We had a great Easter with the Clark clan.  Caroline and the gang came in town on Saturday afternoon and Ellie and her gang came over and we had a lovely grilled out dinner.  It was a fun night (and LATE) night but the Easter bunny still made an appearance! 

Caroline was in charge of our dessert for Easter sunday (or at least the kiddos!) but forgot to actually make the dessert, so you and Caro and Kate got busy bright and early on Easter morning...

I forgot to take a pic of the final product, but they were cute bunny cupcakes!  She loves to bake, and make a mess :)

 We got ourselves looking rather dapper and headed off to brunch at Gray's in downtown Franklin.

And headed back to our back porch for some afternoon sunshine and egg hunting!

 

 Little Caroline and her mom and dad stopped by for dessert and egg hunting, as well.  It was a pretty exciting hunt that included losing a tooth...

 And finding the golden egg!

 While I may have been poking fun of Caroline for her forgetfulness on making the cupcakes, Mommy actually forgot to get you kiddos to dye the eggs!  BUT, alas, I called most of the crew over one afternoon and we dyed away!  Granted, it was a week after Easter, but you still had fun!
