From This Week

Dear Abigail,
Just wanted to document a few things.  I'm trying to keep up better with our daily activities instead of waiting until something big happens, so here's a shot at that!
Another soccer game, but this time I got your goal (or celebration) on camera and it just makes me smile!

And in case you needed proof that you are awesome, here's you scoring again!
Here's you sporting Daddy's hat.  You wore it all afternoon and asked me to take your picture.  The Cardinals are in the playoffs right now.  That's code for "there is A LOT of baseball watching going on right now and it's wearing Mommy out" just FYI.
You snuck your phone outside to take a few pictures of Woody and Jessie, this one particularly in Kate's swing.  You also took one on them on the steps and asked me to text it to Mimi, which I did and to which Mimi was a bit weirded out...
Last Wednesday the cleaning people came to the house so we had to get out for a bit so I got you two all cutesied up and we went to the mall.  Not very exciting, except that you did EXCELLENT at the mall and I was quite proud.  We were able to run several more errands afterwards, too.
I'm pretty sure this was why you were so good...
After a few errands, we headed over to Ryan's house for a little playtime and dinner (and a way to tick off some more time that we needed to waste until the cleaning was done!!).  Ryan was super cute and was literally begging you to stay longer and asking if we could come over the next day, too!
Here's a lovely drawing you did of me in the car.  It's title is "Mommy with black hair" which is funny because Mommy accidentally got her hair dyed black about a year plus ago, and well, that's kind of how I remembered it...
We made it to the park one afternoon and you made close friends with these 3 high school girls and introduced yourself and everything.  They were sweet enough to 'play' with you, but I think after 15 minutes of you hanging with them, they had had enough, so we went for a little walk across the bridge to give them some time.  You sister was in her own world though...
Oh, so we've started this lovely tradition of going to the local candy store (Honey's Vintage Sweets) on  Friday's after I pick you up from school.  It's a hop, skip and a jump away from your school, not to mention our house, so it's perfect.  And, the candy is just perfect too!  You fill a bag up of your favorite and then we even get to eat them there!  We've done it 3 times now and I must say, I am a fan!
Saturday after Gentry's Farm and while Daddy was grilling, we had this lovely truck show up in our neighborhood!
And of course had to get a treat!  You chose chocolate ice cream with a chocolate cone, and Mommy chose for you to eat it the next day :)
Here's your latest pose - you call it the princess pose...
Ahhhh, and the dead snake.  You and Daddy went on a walk and discovered this dead snake.  The next day, you insisted that you show me.  And then that night, after Dad got home from work AND ate dinner, you begged him to take you to it again and to maybe touch it this time.  So you and Daddy got a flashlight and went to our rode to look for the snake.  Apparently you even touched it!!! GROSS!!!!
Lots of fun, lots of memories! Love you.
