A Visit from the Bronsons

Dear Abigail,
Mr. Mike, a special friend of Daddy's from law school, was in Nashville on a little business and decided to stay a couple more days to visit AND, his family drove down to stay for the weekend, too! Mommy and Daddy both love hanging out with Mr. Mike and his wife, Miss Jill, but unfortunately it doesn't get to happen much with them living in Cincinnati and all, but finally we got our families together. Mr. Mike was here a couple days earlier than the rest, so on Friday afternoon/night, while we patiently waited for the rest of the crew, we all ventured to the Greek festival! We immediately had to fight you from running straight to the jumpy houses, and beg you to eat. Thankfully they had some music and dancers while we ate our gyros and spanikopitia (I can't even say it, so I know I am not spelling it right...). You danced and danced as we ate and ate! Then I finally let you go play to which you chose the petting zoo first! There were all kind of animals in there for you to pet, including a couple bunnies that would just walk up to you, ducks, a llama, a big ole fat pig (which we think bit a little boy while you were in there... yes, we soon got out of there..) and all kinds of other animals. Then you moved on to the jumpy house where I had to physically climb into to get you out. Mommy was not too happy about that, not to mention it had started raining and was getting past your bedtime!!! So after buying a couple hundred yummy desserts to take home, we headed back and put you to bed!! Finally on Friday night Miss Jill and her two sons, Daniel and Joshua, got in town. You were long asleep, but you had NO problem greeting them the next morning! You were so excited to have friends over even if you did just meet them! And, the three of you got along just perfectly right from the start, especially thanks to a little common denominator called "Super Why"!
We started our Saturday morning at your ZooBabes class (while Daddy and the Bronson's viewed the Nashville Zoo) and you had so much fun! You met a lizard and a bunny rabbit and then made a craft where a wash cloth becomes a bunny!

And look a here, I actually got a picture of all three of you sitting still!!! CRAZY!!!!
After the class, Mommy and you bet up with the rest of our crew and showed off our new "Nemo" exhibit...

And then Daniel HAD to show you something "super cool"....

You and Daniel got along really well and he was VERY eager to show you his baseball talent. So we soon left the zoo, grabbed some lunch at Mellow Mushroom, and tried EVERYTHING to keep you and Joshua and Daniel awake - they have the same problem as us... If you fall asleep in the car, there is no transferring AND for sure no going back to sleep.... BUT, we all made it home awake and went straight to nap time.
Soon enough everyone was back awake and Daniel finally got to break out his baseball glove and bat!!! You guys played ball while Mommy and Daddy got things ready for the big UT game that night!!!
They even brought you a pink glove to use!!!!

Here he goes.....

A straight up athlete right there...
And here's you walking down the slide...

another true athletic move...
After Daddy cooked us a delicious meal on the BGE, it was off to bed for you....A very VERY fun weekend. We're so excited about making our next trip to Cincinnati!!!!! love you!
