You at Two!

Dear Abigail,

Today (September 5th) you turned 2 years old!!!!!! OH EM GEEEE time has flown by! First, let's take a glance back...

Here's you the day you were born (and to be more specific, the first photo ever of you!!)

Then we have your 1st birthday party...

And here we are at your 2nd birthday party...

What a difference a year makes!!

Here are a few facts about you at the age of 2:

- Mimi summed it up best by saying "Abby is nosey!". You ALWAYS ask "What he doing?" or "What's Daddy doing?" or "What's dat?" or "I see? I see?" - and that applies to everything from wanting to watch when Mommy is cooking to wanting to see what's in the tissue after blowing/wiping your nose!! Some say nosey, some say curious - but there is no doubt you ALWAYS want to know what is going on!

- You love to sing. I always catch you singing in your bed at night or even in the morning. Your singing becomes especially prominent when you have lacked sleep and are a little delirious! Fave songs include: Baby Baby, by none other than Justin Beiber. Farmer and the Dell, although you like the wife to take the dog... Happy Birthday, which I've finally convinced you it's not always your birthday. More recently is Rocky Top - Daddy is super pumped about that one to say the least... And I'll catch you singing Twinkle Twinkle Little Star or Rock-a-bye Baby when putting your baby to bed. OH, and ABC's - how could I forget that one!! You rock at singing your ABC's!

- You love to swim, whether in the pool or bath!

- You love your spaghetti. Other fave foods are watermelon and grapes. And "cookies" which are really oatmeal breakfast bars! You still have little to no interest in sweets, other than the M&M's that your aunts have introduced you to! You like most things but make it clear when you don't liek something, just by simply saying "I don't like this".

- You will only watch Super Why at home and only Nemo in the car. The other day I put in Tarzan and you watched the first 10 or so minutes and then said "I don't like this. I need Nemo".

- You are still rockin' the sleep, but you do climb into MOmmy & Daddy's bed around 6-6:15 every morning. Most mornings you quietly lay for 20 or so minutes, but occasionally you swat daddy with Lovey. :)

- You love to climb on things - STILL. Once a monkey, always a monkey....

- OH, how could i forget - you gave up ALL your pacis to the doctor on your 2 year appointment and have done splendidly well! No tears other than a small breakdown about 20 minutes afterwards.

- You love playing with babies, real or not! Baby Grant is at the top of your list of things to play with and you always ask "Sit in my lap?". But you do a great job with your own babies, with pushing them in the stroller to putting them to bed, so I think Miss EP will soon enough leave you responsible for Baby Grant!

- Mimi's house if by far the #1 place you always ask to go. Every time we're in the car, without a doubt you will ask if we're going to Mimi's house. Unfortunately, 90% of the time I have to say no...

- You are starting to play really well with other kids, especially older ones, but you still have a tendency to go off on your own and do your own thing.

- You are LOVED LOVED LOVED by so many friends and family, including your Mommy and Daddy! You are perfect in every way, but I do have just one small request for the next year... PLease slow down with the growing up!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
