Papa Rob & Gramma's Visit, and Madison and Em, too!

Dear Abigail,
Guess who came to visit?!!! That's right, Papa Rob & Gramma and they brought Madison and Emily with them, too! They got in town pretty late on Thursday night, and by late I mean you were sound asleep, so you didn't get to see them until Friday morning, which happened to be the first day of one of my more likable trends of yours - sleeping late again!! You slept pretty late, like 7:30 and Madison and Emily were just itchin' to wake you up, since they had been awake since 6!! Finally, I heard you moving a little bit so we decided to bombard you and make you wake up! Madison was the first in to see you and was so excited that she just hopped right in the bed with you, and of course Em was just around the corner.
Soon enough, you were absolutely up and at them and ready to go - SO, guess where we went to burn some energy?!! PUMP IT UP!!!!! That's right - we all headed to Pump It Up. Papa Rob had never been, and I don't think Emily had either, or well, maybe not even Madison - let's just say they all acted like it was their first time there!! Everyone was so impressed with all the bouncy houses and the slides and all the running around and screaming you could do and not get in trouble. Papa Rob tried and tried to get you to go down those slides, but, again, you refused. This time, though, when we weren't looking (or begging you to climb), you would climb up the "rocks" and one time you actually made it to the top and kept saying "I did it!!! I did it!!!!" But you wouldn't do it again. I've learned if we leave you alone, you are more likely to do it rather than us bug and bug... I think I'll consider that later in life with you :) So we pumped and pumped and pumped it up. At one point, you were getting really tired and just wanted to sit in my lap, but not an ounce of quietness from Mad or Em!!! And Papa Rob said he didn't have to work out for a week after all that!
After pump it up, we headed to Jason's Deli for a delicious lunch - another first for Papa Rob and Gramma, who I believe were equally impressed! And it didn't help we all got ice cream!!! And then, of course, off to a nap!!! For you at least! Gramma and the girls headed to the pool, Papa Rob tried trimming my hedges, you napped and Mommy ran 100 errands to get ready for, well, you will see what happened next - just wait for the next post...
You were clearly tired because you slept extra long, and I think Papa Rob was getting concerned that you weren't going to sleep that night (his worst fear, btw!), but I told him over and over, sleep begets sleep.... (and it turned out to be true!).
We decided to take Papa Rob and Gramma to one more first before they left, so we headed to Mellow Mushroom for dinner. Well, I'm not sure it got the same response as Pump It Up and Jason's Deli. Unfortunately, we had to wait almost an hour to get seated, and well, with 3 hungry girls, it wasn't pretty. And if you know Papa Rob at all, patience and him don't belong in the same sentence :) BUT, we finally got a table and it ended up being a great table outside and the weather was absolutely perfect to be sitting outside! After the yummy pizza, we headed to the usual dessert place (CiCi's Treats), but that line put Papa Rob over the edge, and we decided to pack on up and head to the house!!!! We didn't need the sweets anyway - we had sweets coming our way (just wait, you'll see...)
Saturday - well, Saturday was kind of crazy! We took Papa Rob and the gang to the land we bought to which we will build our dream home, and then Papa Rob and Gramma took all 3 of you girls to the Y pool, which, btw, we absolutely have to go to - I did not know it was so cool!!! Anyway, you didn't stay long because you HAD to go down for a nap, but for the short time you were there, Papa Rob said you had a blast!!!
Overall, pretty fun packed visit from Papa Rob - and there is even more - but you'll have to read the next post to get all that!!!!!!!
LOVE YOU!
PS - not a single picture! Gramma said she got a few so hopefully she'll email me those, otherwise, just imagine Papa Rob bouncing up and down and all around!!!
